What is Inclusive Postsecondary Education?IPSE stands for inclusive postsecondary education. Often called IPSE for short, these programs enable young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to attend college. IPSE programs empower transition-age youth with IDD, by providing students with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to pursue and achieve their personal and professional goals. Through academic and vocational training, IPSE programs aim to enhance the skills and competencies of individuals with disabilities, preparing them for meaningful employment and independent living. | Our VisionWe believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity for a college education, and we strive to create an environment across our region where diversity is embraced, and inclusion is the norm.
Our organization serves as a hub for collaboration, information sharing, and advocacy, uniting stakeholders who are dedicated to breaking down barriers and promoting a more inclusive educational landscape. |
