What is Inclusive Postsecondary Education?

IPSE stands for inclusive postsecondary education. Often called IPSE for short, these programs enable young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to attend college.

IPSE programs empower transition-age youth with IDD, by providing students with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to pursue and achieve their personal and professional goals.

Through academic and vocational training, IPSE programs aim to enhance the skills and competencies of individuals with disabilities, preparing them for meaningful employment and independent living.
