Welcome to NWIPSEA!We are the Northwest Inclusive Postsecondary Education Alliance -- a professional organization for educators, vocational rehabilitation providers, families, students, and self-advocates -- who are passionate about inclusive higher education for students with disabilities. |
What is Inclusive Postsecondary Education?Often called IPSE for short, inclusive postsecondary education programs enable young adults with intellectual disabilities to attend college. IPSE programs empower individuals with intellectual disabilities by providing them with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to pursue and achieve their personal and professional goals. Through academic and vocational training, these programs aim to enhance the skills and competencies of individuals with disabilities, preparing them for meaningful employment and independent living. | Our VisionWe believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity for a college education, and we strive to create an environment across our region where diversity is embraced, and inclusion is the norm.
Our organization serves as a hub for collaboration, information sharing, and advocacy, uniting stakeholders who are dedicated to breaking down barriers and promoting a more inclusive educational landscape. | Join today,
